» 2001 PRESS RELEASES New Media Age, 01 November 2001 01.11.01 BELRON have launched a cartoon microsite to promote the bookable windscreen repair service on autoglass.co.uk. Agency DNA created the site, featuring a cartoon character called Chip who puts across the message that windscreens can be repaired, not just replaced. DNA director of marketing Rob Watt said, "We've used Flash animation to turn what could have been dry information into a fun, interactive marketing tool." This is Autoglass's first online campaign promoting repair booking on its site. Banners linking to http://www.chipintrouble.co.uk will appear on Yell.com.
